| Subject: The Simple Future…through a Complex Present Fri Jan 16, 2009 12:18 am | |
| Salam! You can teach the Simple Future through a living context, a common-context situation, to make the student learn, and forever, its real concept and how to build it following accurate rules and already proven theories. Here is a poem/song with an appropriate way of Future-Building, easy to teach and to learn. You can choose whatever stanza you think will fit your pupils’ level (MS1- MS2- MS3 or MS4). Wish you’ll find it useful. I’m still alive!
I’m still alive, forever free I’m still alive Wherever you go you’ll find me I am not dead On every wall you’ll read my name I’m still alive And my shadow will fill your home I am not dead My grave will echo with my voice I’m still alive Close now your ears or close your eyes Here I am! Look how so bad now is your doom As you feel lost Pouring down bombs on home and tomb Fearing my ghost You know as everyone does know I won’t die For ever you will be my foe Play now the game Kill and burn as you feel no shame This is your verve Blood, iron and fire build your fame ‘Cause I’m alive Although my body is all cut I’m still alive Every part will stand up and fight I am not dead Here I am in front of you Look at my face Kill me again, I’ll rise anew With a new pace! Look at my peers so strong and wise Laugh now or cry And you so tiny just big in size You know well why In Eden Gardens my soul will lie Don’t you know? And you will eat a fire-pie Stand now or bow Oh, Mum and Dad say to Brother Keep to the stand We’ll meet one day with each other So glad and proud Away, away, this is my Land You have no say Jerusalem and Gaza will end For good your stay! Away, away, away, away You have no stay Away, away, away, away This is my Day! Samia Belarbi 14/15-01-09

| Subject: Not only the tense... Fri Jan 16, 2009 11:10 am | |
| Thanks again for the interesting poems.
This one is the best. I believe it doesn't teach only the tense but it roots and revives values. Human values are almost gone and your works try to make them survive. For the good of humanity, keep it up. I bow.
