Slimming down...or taking down what's dictated with no comment and no frown?!?!?!

First of all, Salem to all!

No comments! It seems that THEY keep to the idea that all things should remain as they were prescribed once... excluding any kind of participation on the part of those who are really concerned: TEACHERS!
The same scandal is clearly prevailing ... and the teachers are paying for that, for the simple reason that all is welcomed with 'silent Nos' passed for: polite Yeses!

All teachers are used to slimming down the dictated syllabuses as they think it's suitable to time, place and level, but a unified idea should rather be the tool of lall...How?...That's the question...

We shouldn't as well behave as bystanders and say: C'est la vie...Let's decide on reporting a unified set of comments and suggestions to our inspectors, to be transmitted to the higher institution which is responsible for all this.

Once more...It's time to make a change!

Well! to have a strong hold of the matter, things should be done nation-wide! not only on the level of Setif or Bordj, right?

We are all concerned by these overloaded syllabuses .English is considered as a MAIN SUBJECT ( with Maths, Arabic & French) and therefore pupils have to take two tests and a final term exam.Is it logical to perform that in 3 hours a week? Why couldn't this language take 5 hours just like the other so called main subjects? If THEY couldn't do that,they would just shorten these long syllabuses and consider English here a secondary subject.
What is really noticed here that those who planned this work think that we're teaching small classes with smart pupils whose teachers are robot-like and work in schools where they could find all the materials they need.
Let's invite them to visit schools and have a look at the hard work that teachers perform daily.Then , they might view this problem from a different angle...

We hope that all the concerned join and decide what to do! The others think that they are a knowall!!!! But in fact,theyare far away from the muddy fields! If we just get members from all Wilaya, we can change things to better. We can study things together and you may decide to create a nationala association for teachers of English! In this way our voice will be heard, you know! But befor that we have to find our way to all colleagues, especially for those who disbelieve this: " Those who can, do; those who can't, teach."
