PostSubject: BOOK 4 AND ERRATA.   Mon Nov 24, 2008 5:04 pm

Although Book Four has been revised it contains mistakes.Just few.

File1 Practice Page23. Activity 1.

The illustration shows a girl licking up a plate. Can you find the broken rule in the text?
Amazing, isn't it?

File 4. WORDS and SOUNDS. Page 99. Activity 3.

You can find a table containing the phonemic symbols but what is puzzling is that the phonemic symbol / ie / in the fifth column doesn't exist in the English language.
Don't say it's just a printing mistake. This book isn't a draft.

PostSubject: Errata! The whole Book is!   Sat Jan 24, 2009 12:39 am

I am not underating the work done by our colleagues who most of them were inspectors! But the problem that the things they told us to teach are found by 99.99% of the teacher lacking teachability!! I am suggesting that we database a maximum number of teachers-nation-wide, write a petition and send it to the concerned people! I don't know how they're perceiving this great issue of fiasco in English! They must feel that they have hands in this affair. It isn't just ours. I wonder whether someone of the colleages have jotted down a word to their email address of 4Am book "on the move" editing team!!??? I really did! Unfortunately, they're busy to reply me! Just try it, ma be I was wrong:
This is a call to Mr. Mohamed from Ouled Jelel, Mr. Grich from BBA, Ms. belarbi, and all the member to think about a petition to send to the concerned people about English situation in our schools!!!
Peace to All & god Bless u all

PostSubject: Ready to work for the well-being of our Nation!   Sat Jan 24, 2009 11:42 pm

What I want to tell you, is that the pupils of 1AM noticed the lack of apostrophes in their book!!!
Teachers should develop the pupils' negative eye, so as not to take things for granted and think that the book is mistake-free.

I suggested to unify the work but no initiative...
And it's not the whole story! How about THREE hours a week to teach a foreign language? And the number of files!
How about the so called listening scripts?

To much is to be said but how much is to be heard?

I'm here for any thing you suggest, provided that a good number of colleagues take part and from different wilayas.
