It's the least one can do...

Palestine, Our Dream!

They are crying, they are screaming
They are wondering why the world is wild
They are running, they are racing
To escape the fire, the smoke and blood

They are telling to the dead and living
How can’t you feel the pain of the wound?
We are dying although we’re breathing
Why can’t you as Salah and Omar take pride?

Look at that baby, whose mother’s feeding
Smiling and laughing to foe and friend
And that fierce soldier the mother shooting
Along with baby falling on the ground

Can’t you meet as one just Allah fearing
To say ‘No’ to arms and to the bloodshed?
Can’t you rise as one, His Word reciting?
For Freedom is not easy recovered

We’re fed up of you just all time chatting
Isn’t it time to turn to action your word?
Jerusalem’s my and your belonging
The first Qibla, Isra of Muhammad!

He met all Prophets together praying
He was the Imam by the will of the Lord
How will you meet Him, the day all standing
Holding one’s Book with the right or left hand?

We are praying and we are crying,
Dreaming to pray on your holly Land
We are begging Allah, believing
To kiss one day your Water and Sand

Jerusalem our hearts are bleeding
Jerusalem our hearts are burning
Jerusalem our hearts are squealing
Willing to see you in Peace living

We are crying, we are screaming
We are calling, oh Palestine!
We are praying, we are pleading
Saying all time: Life to Palestine!
